Individually selected parcels were left for an extended maceration on their skins, followed by wild yeast fermentation in 100% French oak barrels. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe wine was then allowed to mature for a further 15 months before barrel selection and the final blending. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAromas of dark plum, blackcurrant, bitter chocolate and a touch of allspice lead to a generous fruit-driven palate with hints of white pepper, violets and seasoned leather. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRich, silky tannins linger on with seamless persistance.
