Corsendonk Pater Dubbel 750ml

This beer pours a lovely mahogany brown, with a billowing white head presenting a fantastic image in the glass. The nose is strongly of dark fruits - raisins, plums, figs - with caramel and hints of chocolate from the roasted malts. The flavour is built on a medium sweet malt backbone, complimented by the competing richness of the dark fruits, gentle spices and earthy hop character. The fine carbonation aids in the smooth, luxurious mouthfeel.
