Domaine Lathuiliere Brouilly

Lathuiliere Brouilly gamay shows how 'Style " comes with good winemakers. This newer vine Gamay (1st harvest 2009) has many of the characteristics of its older sister gamay, the Brouilly VV (old vines) version. Both have a Burgundian intensity and complexity. This Pisse Vieille gamay starts with smells of darker dusty-minerally fruits. The taste is a mix of generous rounded blueberry, a little blackberry fruits; plus Burgundian touches of dusty mineral & spice hints add complexity to the finish. Generous, yet intense, and not made yesterday!
