Lovely mix of grapefruit, melon and stonefruit on the palate with a dept use of oak. A beautifully balanced cool climate wine.

Cool climate Chardonnay characters prevail with grapefruit, melon, white stone fruit, mineral and a hint of struck match. The palate shows richness despite the lack of malolactic fermentation, principally from the vines now over 40 years of age. 

Palate: textural and medium weight supported by delicate oak providing length and persistence. 

Bouquet: white stone fruit and white flowers prevail, with a hint go underlying spicy oak.
