Helm Cab Sauv Premium

Cabernet Sauvignon is a speciality of Helm Wines and the Canberra District is perfectly suited to growing this wonderful variety. This wine is made from the wonderful contracted neighbours (Lustenberger) vineyard planted in 1996 . Helm Wines has been successfully making Cabernet sauvignon and Cabernet blends since 1979 and has attracted numerous wine show awards and favourable critic reviews. The Helm Premium Cabernet sauvignon is only released when this vineyard produces perfect fruit,  and after the long two years plus maturation in French oak, then bench marked against some of Australia’s best Cabernets.

The deep red hue is typical of Cabernet from the Canberra District, with a rich berry and spicy bouquet. An outstanding wine of soft tannins, rich dark fruit and cherry palate with balanced oak tannins.
