Holgate Brewhouse Hop Attacks Red IPA

In some ways, the entire craft beer movement can feel like we're experiencing something of a hop invasion. IPAs, hazy pales, hoppy lagers, you don't have to wait long for your favourite brewery to deliver an assault of aromatics courtesy of hops. Holgate's Hop Attacks! might offer a sensory invasion of those flavours but like any sci-fi classic, the red IPA is layered. A mix of speciality malts bring chewy notes of toffee, raisins and some plum notes and while that all might sound quite sweet, a dry and bitter finish keeps those rays in check.
