De Iuliis Aged Semillon

De Iuliis is one of the Hunter's premier modern producers, renowned for producing some of the region's best value wines. No exception here, to see a wine held back for many years and released in its prime. It's golden, luscious and complex, but still with life and zest. A must-try aged-release wine for any lover of Hunter Valley Semillon. Pale yellow. The wine still displays some fresh citrus and lime characters; but is beginning to show more subtle developed qualities of honey and toast. Starting to display some of the complexities of an aged Semillon; nice citrus characters combine with some toast and honey to come through on the palate. Excellent acidity, which is in balance, adds to good length of flavour.
