Kapriol Gin from Distilleria dell’Alpe - Gin from Kapriol Kapriol Gin is produced by Distilleria dell'Alpe which is run by the Maschio family. The distillery dates back to 1948, when they made grappa, liqueur and gin always with herbs from the forests in and around the Italian Dolomites Alps. The distillery has always been known for the "forest liqueur" Kapriol and has helped inspire the Kapriol gins. Today all their gin is made in 2 x 100 litre copper pots from 1947. Kapriol Dry gin is from 2016 and was created after many years of research, but has always been based on the original recipe from the old distillery. 

Lemon & Bergamot Gin Botaicals: Italian Juniper, Kvan (angelica), Chamomile, Cardamom, Caraway, Coriander, Ensian (herbal flower), Lavender, Hops, Mint, Oregano, Mountain Pine, Hybenrose, Rosemary, Bay Leaves, Lemon and Bergamot. 

Mixers and graniture: a good mild tonic e.g. Imperdibile Bitter Dry or Italian Superiore tonic. Top off with a slice of lemon or lime to compliment the gin.
